So yesterday was National Cat Day. Gidgette hung out on my lap and purred up a storm. I tried to get Ivory to play with the new treat ball I bought, but she wasn’t interested. Actually, she was interested in me rolling the ball so the treats came out. But not in the ball itself.…
Gidgette has been on the bed for a few hours now. She keeps moving around in the same spot. She seems to have lost a lot of energy. I think I’m going to call the vet tomorrow. I’m worried.

I bought Gidgette and Ivory some kitty milk yesterday. My cats that have gone over the rainbow bridge, Parquet and Jeepers, loved kitty milk. I was hoping that Gidgette and Ivory would like it too. How to pet a cat… according to science. I find most of this true. Gidgette, however, is weird. But isn’t that true of all cats? Oh well. Gidgette likes to have her butt scratched right at the base of her tail. She’ll stretch into it and purr up a storm.

I love kitty toes. I especially love kitty toe beans. I mean, just look at them! Most of the pictures are of Gidgette, but there is one picture of Ivory’s toes. but there is one picture of Ivory’s toes (albeit a blurry one).
I went back into my photo archive and pulled out some pictures of Ivory as a kitten. These are from the day I brought her home. You can see her bold nature and curiosity. She was certainly an adorable ball of fluff.
